Quarter GPA: 3.09
Cumulative GPA: 3.52

Sorry it took me so long to post these. I'm mostly happy with these grades. I did better than I was expecting in accounting and physics. I honestly thought I was looking at a B or B+ in those classes. But, when the grades were posted, I was pleasantly surprised.

Calculus, as everyone can see, kicked my ass. It was the most difficult course I have ever taken. I got a 44% on my final exam. That was also the class average. But, with a C-, I can and will take calculus 4 next quarter.

As you can see, I am trying to lose my sanity next quarter. This is the most difficult course load I've faced with my only 100-level class being friggin' physics and a 500-level stat course. So, if I have gray hair at FWA, you know why :D

First, let me give a big thank you to Mr. [info]nbowa for the LJ rename token which he gave me for my birthday. As some of you have noticed, I decided to go from "exile17" to my current username, "huscoon".

Over the years, I've grown very attached to the username "huscoon" for various reasons. First, it's available everywhere. I can't think of a website where I was unable to register it as a username. Second, my species is one-of-a-kind. When anyone speaks of the huscoon, you know who they are talking about. Finally, the name Exile has run its course. It was unoriginal and is probably used less than my species is.

So now, I'm "huscoon" on LJ, twitter, and AIM. Over the next week or two, I'm slowly going to gut my "exile_17" account on Yahoo and replace it with "huscoon" on their instant messenger and their free e-mail service.

Again, many thanks to [info]nbowa for the sweet birthday gift. And to my friends who contact me on Yahoo, "exile_17" will be useless once the winter quarter starts in two weeks and everything will be under the name "huscoon".

Thanks for your understanding :)

College bowl season starts Saturday. Sorry about the short notice, but you can join our Furry College Bowl Pick'Em.

All you need is a Yahoo ID, which everyone has. If you just found the Internet three days ago and don't have one, get one here.

Then go here: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/bowl/register/joingroup

Group ID#: 37620
Password: fc2010isnextmonth

Give your pick set a name. Please try to make it something similar to your furry name so we're not trying to figure how who "I Wish I Were A Huscoon" is. (Because I know everyone wishes they could be a huscoon ^_-) Then fix all the other settings and agree to the terms of service. Click on "Make Your Picks" to get started.

The biggest difference between this and the NFL Pick'Em is that with the College Bowl Pick'Em, you have to award "confidence points" to each game. The most confident you are that your pick will be right, the more confidence points you want to assign to the team you picked to win that game.

Example, if I'm 100% sure that Ohio State will beat Oregon in the Rose Bowl, I would pick Ohio State and assign them the maximum number of confidence points (which I believe is 34.) However, if I have absolutely no clue who will win the Hawaii Bowl between Nevada and SMU, I would just guess and assign them the minimum number of confidence points, which is 1. You can only use each number, 1 thru 34, once.

Pretty simple.
